| An introduction to the exercise in preaching. Attention will be given to the selection and interpretation of the text and the formulation of the sermon idea. An overview will be made of the elements of a good sermon and the techniques of effective sermon delivery. It is hoped that through this course the student will come to appreciate the joy of preaching and the satisfaction of good preparation. The class includes audio lectures. Introduction to Preaching is required for the Certificate of Ministry. | |||
